NSDAP Political Leader Gorget By RZM M5/8. This NSDAP Political Leader’s Gorget by RZM M5/8 is an impressive piece of regalia worn by the Standarte Bearer of the NSDAP Political Leaders Organisation. The front of this gorget has a good look, and a pleasing patina to the smooth bronze colored surfaces. The large central German Third Reich eagle and swastika emblem and the oak leaf border all retain full original detail. The brown wool felt backing is in original condition is of the early typ. Both of the hooks on the reverse of the chain are stamped with the RZM logo M1/102 of the Reichszeugmeisterei. The chain is complete with all of its original, ornate, detailed links. The original darkening in the recesses of the design on the links adds a great look of depth and contrast to the alternating wreathed swastika and eagle emblems. This NSDAP Political Leader’s Gorget is a very attractive example.
